Subject Matter of Data Protection
The subject matter of the data protection is personal data. As defined in sec. 3 (1) BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act), this consists of individual information on personal or objective circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, your postal address, your e-mail address, and your telephone number and may also include usage data.

Automated Data Collection by tracking cookies
MASA Group stores "cookies" in order to offer you an extensive range of functions and make it more convenient for you to use our websites. Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer using your Internet browser. If you do not wish to use cookies, you can use your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored. Information about your use of MASA Group's websites is collected using server access logs and a tracking cookie. The following data are stored separately from other data that you may send us:

User-Entered Data
You can use the MASA Group’s website “http://www.shop.ekione.com/” either with or without registration. However, without registering, you can only view the respective products but not buy them. You must register at the EKI One web-shop in order to be able to buy and download the offerings. To register, you must enter your first and last name, your e-mail address and select a password. Naturally, should you purchase a service or product from us; we will require sufficient information from you so that we can complete the transaction, as but not limited to the billing information, invoice related information (creditcard information, etc.), and other data required for processing the order. We need this information in order to ensure that you can use the full EKI One shop offering. We also need this information, and possible other information as well, in order to be able to process your purchase and to respond to any requests, questions, and criticism. You may optionally also enter your tax/VAT number because cross-border sales in the EU attract 19% VAT unless the customer is a VAT liable business with a given company name and VAT number.
Disclosure of Data
In general, we will not disclose your information to third parties without informing you and asking for your consent. We may transmit your data to third parties without separate, prior notice only as exceptions in the cases explained below:
Personal data will be disclosed if governmental agency, or an attorney, subpoenas your private information, or makes a formal request for discovery pursuant to any legal action, or pending legal action. If our attorney requests such information relevant to a current or pending legal matter in which you are a potential or actual party or otherwise contributed in some way to the causation of the legal matter. Personal data may also be disclosed for purposes of enforcement of the General Business Terms or other agreements. Newsletter
MASA Group offers a newsletter service free of charge. We use the newsletter to notify you about product innovations and send you general information about MASA Group. If you wish to receive the newsletter, we need your e-mail address. You can either enter it on MASA Group's home page at: http://www.MASA Group.com or you can sign-in at your Account. We will store and use your e-mail address only for purposes of sending out the newsletter.
Of course, you may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by signing-out at your Account or by sending us an e-mail to info@ekione.com. Each newsletter includes information on how to unsubscribe for the future.
Deletion of Your Data
We will delete your data when they are no longer needed for the purposes described above. If you wish to delete your account, we will delete all of the data from your account in its entirety. If data must be preserved for legal reasons, they will be frozen. In this case, the data will no longer be available for further use.
Right of Information and Correction
